EXPERIENCE

2022 - 2023 - Director of Care Services, Cheetah House

Trained and onboarded new Cheetah House Care Team members. Led Cheetah House Care Team Supervision. Co-developed Cheetah House Care Team training. Co-developed Cheetah House’s non-clinical care modality Scaffolding / Resourcing. Co-developed updated safety and emergency protocols. Accumulated more than 600+ hours of Cheetah House Care Services, including one on one peer support, support group facilitation, and Cheetah House Scaffolding /Resourcing Workshops lead trainer. Co-led training at Harvard Medical School for integrative medicine post-doctoral fellows with Dr. Willoughby Britton on mechanisms of harm and mechanisms of recovery for Meditation-Related Adverse Effects.

2020-2022 - Care Team Member, Cheetah House

Completed a 9 month Care Team Training with Dr. Willoughby Britton which consisted of 60 didactic units and an 80 hour practicum. Provided more than 400 hours of direct, face-to-face one-on-one and group support to meditators-in-distress

2020-2021 - Focus Group Facilitator, Training development, Cheetah House

Led focus groups of meditators-in-distress about their experiences with meditation-related adverse effects, and what responses from meditation teachers and other healthcare professionals were most and least helpful. Co-developed Care Services and professional training modules with Dr. Willoughby Britton.

2018 - 2019 - Courage of Care Courageous Leaders for Collective Liberation Program

Professional training program with Dr. Brooke Dodson and others which included training in relational facilitation, understanding and undoing systemic oppression, and creating safe, trauma informed, and inclusive community spaces. Helped with certain aspects of the program including naming the program. 

2017- 2018 - Courage of Care Sustainable Compassion Teachers Training Program

Professional Sustainable Compassion Training program as developed by Lama John Makransky and Dr. Brooke Dodson. Trained as a Sustainable Compassion Teacher through Courage of Care coalition. Training included engaging with systemic oppression in practice spaces.

2016 - GreenFaith Fellowship 

Eighteen month InterFaith fellowship working with other spiritual and religious leaders to implement climate change initiatives at their respective spiritual centers.

2015 - 2017 - Wilderness Meditation Teachers Training with Dr. David Loy and Johann Robbins

Trained as a wilderness meditation teacher with Dr. David Loy and Johann Robbins, founders of the Rocky Mountain Eco-Dharma Retreat Center and helped them co-lead several wilderness meditation retreats including an eight-day silent canoe retreat on the Green River in Moab, UT, and an eight-day wilderness retreat in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness in Colorado.

2015 - 2017 - Operations Manager Wonderwell Mountain Refuge 

Over 400 days in silent meditation retreats. 

Completed both years of Natural Dharma Fellowships Margha training program, teacher nominee: one year certification in Kagyu/Nyingma Natural Wisdom practices, and one year certification in Kagyu/Nyingma Natural Compassion practices.

Householder yogin lineage-holder of Kagyu/Nyingma Dzogchen Compassion Practices and Kagyu/Nyingma Dream Yoga practices.
