We are an online peer support consultancy dedicated to assisting individuals in understanding, navigating, and recovering from Meditation-Related Adverse Effects (MRAE’s), including non-duality teachings, experiences, and practices. Before using our website, please carefully read and agree to the following terms of use:
1. We Provide Consultation Services. The Caring Space operates solely as a peer support consultancy and does not provide psychotherapy or counseling services. This means we do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Our consultations are designed for peer support purposes and are not intended to replace standard medical or psychological care. While some of our team members may have mental health degrees and expertise, they do not offer services in those capacities during consultations. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please seek immediate professional help.
2. Consultation Structure: Our initial consultations are structured in two parts. The first portion allows you to share your story, experiences, and challenges related to MRAE’s. The second part focuses on providing personalized guidance and recommendations based on your unique needs, goals, and values. Follow-up consultations and ongoing peer support will follow an individually tailored structure designed to meet your unique needs. Consultations are fifty minutes.
3. Confidentiality: At The Caring Space, we deeply value your privacy and confidentiality. Any information shared with us during consultations will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, unless legally mandated otherwise.
4. User Responsibilities: As a user of our website and services, you agree to be respectful and considerate to other users and The Caring Space team members. Any misuse or inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of your access to our services.
5. Copyright and Intellectual Property: All content, materials, and intellectual property found on The Caring Space website are protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without explicit permission.
6. Disclaimer of Liability: The information provided on The Caring Space website is for general guidance only and should not be considered as professional advice. 10. By providing your payment information, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and have the right to use the payment method. You authorize The Caring Space and its payment processors to charge your payment method for your purchase and may place holds on it for any related charges.
Third-Party Payment Processors: The Caring Space uses third-party payment processors for purchases. These providers handle your payment securely. For any payment-related issues, contact The Caring Space or the payment processors.
Refunds and Inquiries: consultation fees are generally nonrefundable. Please notify The Caring Space of any billing errors within thirty (30) days for possible refunds
11. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms of Use or your use of the Website may be resolved through final and binding arbitration. The arbitration process will follow the rules set forth by the American Arbitration Association, applying Oregon law. The arbitration decision will be final and binding, and this provision will remain in effect even after the termination of these Terms of Use.
12. Jurisdiction: While our website is accessible from anywhere in the world, it is designed to comply with the laws of Oregon and the United States. If the website's content or your use of it violates the laws of your location, please refrain from using the website.
